At Rivington Place in East London I went to the Entanglement: The Ambivalence of Identity exhibition which showcased work from artists such as, Simon Fujiwara, Anthony Key, Dave Lewis, Nina Mangalanayagam & Navin Rawanchaikul. The artists explore the complexities of living with more than one culture, looking at their own identities and past debates, bringing them into the context of todays globalised society. It is explored through seriousness but also humour as well. It is definitely an exhibition that needs time spent on looking and reading...a very interesting afternoon was spent in Rivington Place and I came out feeling very informed.
